About the event
The Glass House Festival, poetry from around the world, celebrates the power of poetry; to understand, to succour, to soothe, and above all to see ourselves and recognize grace, mystery, and rationality in the world. Poets from around the world are participating from their homes, alongside academics, writers, and musicians. Drawing on the immersive intensity of traditional brick-and-mortar festivals, the program includes Recitative Poetry, Slam Poetry, Close Readings of Poems, Poems in Translation, Regional Language Poetry, Poems of Protest, Resistance, and Empowerment, Poems on the Environment, Panel Discussions, Workshops and Performances and Allied Arts
All sessions will be held online, from the 23rd to the 26th of July 2020
